Our Pastor

Pastor David Russ, along with his wife, Jennifer, and their daughter, Avery, are grateful that God has led their family to serve at Grace Baptist Church in Logan, Utah.

In the spring of 2026, the Russ family began a new chapter of ministry as they followed the Lord's leading to Cache Valley.

Pastor David is a graduate of Golden State Baptist College in Santa Clara, California, where he earned his Bachelor of Ministry degree. Throughout his years in ministry, he has had the opportunity to serve in many areas of the local church, including preaching, teaching, youth ministry, outreach, and discipleship. These experiences have strengthened his love for the local church and his desire to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Jennifer has been a faithful companion and encouragement throughout their years of ministry. Together, they enjoy serving the Lord, raising their daughter Avery, and building relationships with the people God has placed in their lives.

Although Utah is a new home for the Russ family, they have quickly developed a love for the beauty of Cache Valley and, more importantly, the people who call it home. They are thankful for the kindness and encouragement they have received from the church family at Grace Baptist.

Their greatest desire is to see Jesus Christ glorified in Logan, throughout Cache Valley, and beyond.

Pastor David believes that the local church should be a place where the Word of God is faithfully preached, the Gospel is clearly proclaimed, believers are strengthened in their faith, and families are encouraged to follow Christ. His heart is to see Grace Baptist Church continue to be a faithful witness for Jesus Christ in the community for generations to come.

The Russ family is excited about what God is doing at Grace Baptist Church and looks forward to seeing how the Lord will continue to work in the days ahead.
